Exercise for

ADHD and ASD Individuals

Our goal is to create a safe space for both parents and children to navigate life with ADHD and/or ASD. We strive to educate the community on behavioral management strategies for children and even adults with ADHD and or ASD. As well as teach the importance of the use of exercise within this area.

We understand that managing a child with behavioral differences can be difficult. We strive to promote positive behavioral change through the use of exercise.

Why choose exercise?

Emotional Regulation

Exercise helps reduce anxiety by decreasing cortisol levels (stress control) and increasing dopamine and endorphin release.

Exercise has been proven to increase one’s concentration, mood and alertness. We can use exercise to decrease muscle tension

Strength and Mobility

It has been shown that populations with ASD or ADHD are more likely to have a decreased muscle mass and coordination.

Individualised exercise guidance is required for these populations to help increase strength, decrease pain and overall improve their quality of life.

Sleep

Neurodivergent populations commonly struggle with getting to sleep or oversleeping. Our energy, growth and emotions are largely affected by sleep hygiene.

Exercise is an incredible way to help regulate energy and hormone levels to allow these populations have improved sleep hygiene.
